The Hereward Relay The following are emails received following The Hereward Relay event on 25th November 2007. On behalf of all our team members I would like to say thank you for yesterday, we all had a great day and really enjoyed the race. Please pass on our thanks to all your organisers and marshals. Kerry, Tri-Anglia. ps. We will be back next year. Our thanks to you and your club for great organisation of The Hereward Relay, and for your help in ensuring we received race numbers in good time. Even with the memory fresh I am receiving emails from club members who want to do the race again next year! Paul Dutton, FVS Tri. I thought I should drop you a line to say thanks for a good event today. Well organised, well marshalled and well signed (which when you are in the middle of nowhere in the fens) does put your mind at rest. Thanks again. Matt. Many thanks once again for a fantastic event - we (Saffron Striders) had a total of 6 teams running and everyone enjoyed it. The new finish seem to work very well with great atmosphere. Dr. Chris Dodge. One of our lady runners collapsed in the first stage and was taken to Peterborough hospital and diagnosed with low blood-sugar. She is now OK and we would like to thank the marshals who helped so well at the incident. Gavin Long. On behalf of Ely Runners we would like to thank March AC for another excellent Hereward Relay. The standard of organisation and marshalling seemed to have reached new heights and the revised course along the river was particularly enjoyable. The finish at Ely Football Club took a great deal of stress and risk out of the organising. John Turner. Thanks for an excellent event - the marshals were brilliant. Geoff Howes, Thorney Running Club. Many thanks & congrats on another great event. GT. Yaxlery Runners. Another triumph, well done and many thanks from all at Eye. Dave Richmond. |
